reminded that this young girl possesses the
versatility to make it as
professional model. Internationally and locally, she has what it
takes to succeed in the modeling business: beauty, common sense and
a great attitude. Diamond was noticed at the age of 9 by a
New York Modeling Agency who
specializes in children. Even before then, she had thoughts of
becoming a model. Now 15 and 5’7,
she is more focused and eager than ever. Though she lives the
teenage experience, she is fully aware of her potential. She has
surpassed her peers and has above average talents in dancing, is an
expert poser, has above average runway skills and is extremely
photogenic. During spring and summer 2008, she assisted in helping
new models with proper posing techniques and has helped adults and
children learn how to strut on the runway. Diamond won best attire

Diamond, In the Rough - The Real Deal
Diamond has been modeling since age 6 and she received several recommendations for being considered a favorite “catwalk strutter” among several of her peers, though some were older than her. Diamond has participated in several community fashion shows among the years, and the skills learned along the way allowed her the ability to improve her skills and talents, which led to her being chosen as best walker for part of a Yuppy Boutique search for models in 2006. Now age 15, Diamond now attends Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School in New Haven, CT. According to Diamond, in her household, education comes first. Her strong desire to pursue the arts while obtaining a solid education looked more promising to her when she recently became accepted into her magnet school. During a question asked as part of an interview for freshman seminar in the spring, she was asked what does modeling have to do with theatre. She said that modeling has helped because if one needs to do a photo shoot, theatre would help her to learn how to portray different characters easier.Diamond likes to dance, write poetry and hang out with her friends; and with all of this she has received a perfect attendance award since 2nd grade. Career goals include attending a performing arts college and to become a teacher in theatre. |
