IMANI Magazine/Fashion Models Institute

FINANCE MANAGER: \$6.50/hr. Handles the billing, after 30-day period, and keeps an account of all costs, finances and taxes incurred in preparation of accounts involved with IMANI Magazine. Must keep careful track of all accounts, making sure data is updated weekly. Sends all materials and bills clients accordingly after bills over 30-days old are obtained from Advertising, Circulation, and Distribution, and Marketing/Promotions Managers.
AD REP: up to $144,000/year commission-only. Function is to plan, prepare and place (with outside media and Art Director) advertising. May produce some of its non-media advertising itself. Can present ideas for company catalogs, instructional material, or technical manuals. Can sell by contest giveaway, or discount coupons with approval. Can make self responsible for soliciting a celebrity, who may endorse a product.
CIRCULATION MANAGER: \$6.50/hr Must make a superb plan to obtain subscriptions nationally and internationally by getting the contact list from the Advertising Director and Promotions/Public Relations Director as well as making his/her own database of subscribers and making goals to meet the advertisement/circulation guarantee that was promised to advertisers and is part of IMANI's expected quota. All results go to the Fulfillment/Records Manager and Research Managers. Circulation Director will also receive subscriptions accumulated from Advertising Director/Sales Reps and Promotions/Pubic Relations Director. Key person for getting subscribers via phone calls or mailings.
DISTRIBUTION DIRECTOR: \$20,000/year commission-only. Responsible for mailing/delivering copies of IMANI magazine to stores and subscribers where it will be sold or given away free. Responsible for gathering a team of people to deliver the magazine to stores/subscriber's homes. Must keep organized list and acquire it from the Fulfillment and Records Manager. Can also double check with Circulation Director.
FULFILLMENT/RECORDS MANAGER: \$6.50/hr. Fulfillment is involved with keeping circulation records and advertising and getting the magazine to the reader for the term of the subscription, (promptly placing the name on the mailing list when the order is entered and making address changes as they are necessary). Good record keeping and adequate staff and machinery is required to maintain the services to keep records up-to-date.
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL RESEARCHERS: \$6.50/hr The National and International Research Managers provide statistical information necessary to plan the meeting between the advertiser and potential client. They also provide data on population and income distribution, buying habits, regional preferences, motivational factors, style, etc. Outside sources can be solicited to compile necessary data of market and psychological research.
SECTION EDITORS:Month One-no pay, after, small compensation per section, less per freelance submissions. Positions available are Hair Editor. All section editors are in charge of freelance writers for their sections and developing new ideas for publication.
INTERNS: Non-salaried. Positions available in writing, sales, marketing, editorial, circulation, business administration, research and production as well as positions involving Fashion Models Institute (fashion designers, professional speakers, stylists, make-up artists, photographers, and sales and marketing). EXCLUSIVE or Non-EXCLUSIVE MODELS: Model must have attended a modeling school or the Fashion Models Institute Program and/or must be able to prove commitment to field. There is a $10 registration fee for out-of-state models and $150 service fee ($25/month) to register with our company. Contracts: Yearly or Per Event Bookings.
